Arrow Buddy Passes

My friend would like to use a Buddy Pass for a flight in early July. I've told him that given the state of our airline right now, I think it's not wise and to buy a ticket. he still insists.
I know we apply for a buddy pass on id90, however, those who have used buddy passes with Spirit in the past, what disclaimer/info do you give the person receiving the buddy pass? Basically its like a standby ticket, and if you don't get on the flight, you will have to re-book on the next available flight? All jokes aside, what do you tell them so they are aware of just what the buddy pass is (again never used one).

I use them all the time. Everyone has always gotten on, even on oversold flights, since we have so many no-shows. But I do warn them they may be left behind, and the only thing I tell is to not get mad at the gate agent. I'm not sure if the agent will rebook, or if you have to. I'd imaging they will be too busy so you better be ready to help your "buddy".

I've had a friend use passes on 2 round trips and it was pretty easy. She had no problem getting on because, again, so many no shows.

I just told her to dress decently, be super nice, and be ready for things to go wrong.
