Why are regionals pilots only flying 15hrs a month? If they are short pilots I’d think they would be flying a ton. Aren’t they offering 300% pay incentives?

Short captains not FO’s. New FOs are sitting on their thumbs for months.

How do you get short captains? If you’re fat on FOs then just upgrade them. If you’re short FOs that’s a problem bc you have to find them

Because FOs are getting picked up just as much as Captains and many FOs aren’t seeing any value in upgrading.

No one has started forced upgrades yet.

also many FO’s don’t have the required 121 time to upgrade.

They don't want to upgrade to go on reserve somewhere they aren't based.
