If you or anyone thinks this is a job, and not a career, that’s what management will “giggle” at. It’s trash logic and says more about that person than anything.
Where were you flying pre 9/11? I ask because we (alpa) gave up a lot to keep doing our profession and not seek out other means of making a living.

Yep, in the Jurassic jet.. furloughed shortly after. Nursing school was looking decent back then.
