Anybody commute offline to work?

Any of the big four particularly easy or difficult?

(Especially Delta and SWA)

I commute almost exclusively on SWA. Under an hour flight. Never been bumped. But it's a unique route. Really doesn't matter the airline as much as the route, area, etc.

stafftraveler app is very useful for commuters. Ease of commute really depends on the city.

[QUOTE=CincoDeMayo;3338221]Haha. Is this what we have become? An FO at a Regional looking at Spirit as “starting over”

What’s the risk of skipping the left seat of a Q400? Ahh, stepping stone Spirit? Recruiting department be on the lookout for a Horizon FO interviewing in a few weeks! 🚨

Haha. Damn. “To go to Spirit or upgrade at Horizon”[/QUOTE

Yes, it is a stepping stone for many…As is Alaska, Jetblue, Frontier, Alegiant….Etc. You will stay at Spirit and I will stay at Alaska. Our choice but does not change the fact that our airlines are not even in the same category and class as the career airlines….You have a good job and I have a good job but never would I imply that I have a career….

If you think you have a job, and not a career, that’s unfortunate for you. I have a career.

Before you started here, our old CEO made a reference to our pay being lower as us being a “lower tier”. This is the same stupidity as calling Delta a “career” and Spirit a “job”

If you or anyone thinks this is a job, and not a career, that’s what management will “giggle” at. It’s trash logic and says more about that person than anything.

Funny how fast threads get off the OP topic/question. Gonna be an SLC commuter (no, I'm not moving any time soon). LAS seems like a no-brainer, but any other good ideas? Commuting east isn't ideal, I get that, but maybe something else could be better in spite of that?

LAS is your best bet for sure. I know we have many pilots living up there.
