I have an appointment next week to remove the restriction from my ATP. Ive had an app on file for like 6 months and I update it after every trip but with an RATP I know this will guarantee that I don't get a call. My question is has anyone had experience with applying with an RATP then getting a call once it got lifted? Also, I currently live in TPA anyone else commute from there to one of the Florida bases? Thank you! Happy flying!
Have you emailed MTC? They usually reply within a day whether you’re qualified or not.

My buddy went to the MTC and had a CJO contingent upon removal of the restriction. Having the restriction is the limiting factor.

Hey guys, I dropped my application in. They gave me pretty early dates for the phone interview. I'm a little worried about just jumping into them without preparing a little. Any bits of advice?

It’s basic. Why spirit, maybe a tmaat question, and they just verify your resume and application are correct.

Hey, send me a DM. I was hired earlier this year and “commute” from TPA. Which by the way, is absolutely nothing compared to my previous TPA LGA commute. You’ll likely get a call at some point with an unrestricted, but a MTC will likely expedite things quicker.

Default Next MTC?

Anyone know when the next MTC will be? I sent an email last Wednesday and haven't heard back. I know Frontier has one in November so I'm hoping Spirit has one coming up soon too. I'm also looking for a little advice. I have 1660 hours, 1100 PIC turbine, ~500 ME PIC Turbine. Mostly DHC-6 and Caravan float planes and jump ships, etc. At the moment I'm sure my app isn't getting looked at because I don't have my ATP, but am qualified for full unrestricted with written in hand, just need the ride. I'm considering going to ATP Jets or Aerostar for their accelerated A320 class. I've do have 4 CJOs with regionals, and actually have a class with piedmont scheduled mid November, but I have so little interest in the possibility of getting stuck at a regional I'm genuinely willing to buy a type if it will allow me to "skip the line" so to speak. Anyway, I welcome your thoughts and input.

Just go to Piedmont, get an ATP and then apply. A MTC isn’t going to help if you don’t meet mins.

Go to the first regional who will get you through ATP/CTP, then go get a job at Spirit.

Oh, forgot you need the actual ATP. Go to the first regional who will give you a class date, get your ATP and split.
