Is there a reason that anyone is aware of? Insurance, standards, etc. Not time related. Strictly age. Frontier allows it currently (just for reference).

Negative. I met the requirements to have my restriction removed and they wouldn’t give me a class date until I actually got it removed.

Just curious, was this an age or hour restriction? I have a buddy who has a lot of turbine time but he's gotta wait 2 years to remove the age restriction off his R-ATP

I know Spirit doesn’t pick up the hotel for an interview - only the air travel.

But, does this ticket come with anything? Carry-on bag? Assigned seat?

Default Application

Current regional FO here looking for advice.
I have an appointment next week to remove the restriction from my ATP. Ive had an app on file for like 6 months and I update it after every trip but with an RATP I know this will guarantee that I don't get a call. My question is has anyone had experience with applying with an RATP then getting a call once it got lifted? Also, I currently live in TPA anyone else commute from there to one of the Florida bases? Thank you! Happy flying!

If removing the R is part of your plan just do it and hope for the best. Also TPA-MCO isn't much of a commute. You'll be fine. Do what's best for you. It will work out.

Step 1: Go to MTC
Step 2: Accept CJO
Step 3: Remove Restriction on ATP
Step 4: Receive class date
AND GO!!

I applied several times online, don’t even think it went through. No calls. Attended MTC event, received CJO. They told me they couldn’t give me a class date until I sent them an unrestricted ATP. Got an appointment with the FSDo the next day and got it removed. Immediately sent it to the recruiter and got a call 10 minutes later with a class date. On week 3 of training now.

Good luck.
