Got the CJO from the SLC MTC event. I'm debating whether to jump from a ULCC start up to Spirit/JetBlue?

Do you seek stability and what will be much higher compensation, but very slow seniority movement? Or do you seek massive seniority movement with lower compensation and a ton of risk that you may be able to cash in down the road?

This is really your only question. Ask those at the top of the JetBlue or spirit list what they would’ve chosen if they had to do it all again. Ask those that left in the early 2000s what they would’ve done.

There isn’t a right answer. There is a graveyard of dead startups. Also a new hire at Southwest today probably isn’t loving life.

Good luck with your choice.

Noob here - curious why SWA new hires potentially aren't loving life?

Trying to draw a parallel to the slow seniority movement you might see at JB/NK. Southwest already has that problem

Ha, this is becoming more and more likely. Still crickets.

SWA is hiring 2400 next year, that should help.

Default Phone call scheduled

I submitted an application last week and have a phone call with a recruiter coming up. What can I expect? I have not attended a MTC event.

Basic stuff. Tell me about yourself, why Spirit, they'll verify stuff on your resume, etc.

Let me know what they answer when you ask why Spirit.
