Word of advice to everyone applying:
You need to periodically send status inquiry emails to them if you haven't heard back in two weeks. It is very likely they will hire you if you had a good MTC and/or interview, and you have a decent record/history. With that being said, start studying your flows NOW because they WILL hire you. If you study your flows now, you will be able to take an immediate class date if available. Class sizes are increasing dramatically so the sooner you get in the better your seniority will be. Bottom line is, if you made it through MTC or had an interview and one or both went well, just drop a follow up email and prepare/expect to be in training this year. My application was overlooked for a few weeks after I had a successful MTC and a successful interview. It took me reaching out multiple times to get in. Trust me, Spirit needs people and I need more seniority. Welcome!

For anybody interested, I just went to meet the chiefs in Vegas. Showed up basically at ATP mins of 1590 hrs (about 600 hours 121 time because of 4 year degree). Was asked if I wanted to interview on the spot, which I did. Walked out with a CJO within 30 minutes. Come in prepared with your best foot forward, meet theirs basic minimums, just be yourself, and the job is yours to take. It seems like they’re a bunch of great people to work with, and I’m looking forward to being there!

Even with all the crap going on right now with our management team and the merger, the people here are great. The pilots and for the most part FA's/GA's are all wonderful. Welcome and enjoy!

Next one is early August.

What's the next contact after receiving a cjo and class date in a few months from MTC, Will they wait till closer to class to get the ball rolling?

Three days before you show you’ll get an email with your travel arrangements and tell you to have x,y,z committed to memory by Monday. Wish I was joking
