You will get hired if you attend a meet the chiefs. Seems to be the best way. But the big question is, why spirit?

You're competitive for Spirit. Apply and attend a MTC.

People who went to school in Stillwater don’t get CJO’s. Lol you should get a CJO and tentative class date on the same day. I’m sure it’s a month or more from CJO to starting class but someone else can chime in.

Hello there, like many have mentioned before. Meet the chiefs is your best bet. I applied and heard nothing back for a few months. I emailed [email protected] and heard back within 3-4 business days with an invitation. I believe they do one every month. I attended the one a few days ago in Chicago. I was offered a CJO and I have 2100 hours. But unrestricted ATP (they asked twice if I was unrestricted) that is the only thing that concerns me about your experience, which understandably out of your control due to an age restriction. Everything else you have is more competitive than some I’ve seen getting hired. I ran into a person that just finished IOE for a regional and has no Jet time. (I think they are just looking for people that can get through a fast pace curriculum.)

Oh really? Than perhaps it shouldn’t be a problem then. I just figured since they asked me multiple times about my ATP, I thought it would be something they were looking for. Thanks for the input.

i mean, from the posts I’ve seen it may have changed. I would do a little research and not take my word for it. They had no issue with me tho.
By the way, when I got awarded upgrade, they were zero help to get my restriction removed. They said they would take care of it, but my paperwork was “sitting on the POI’s desk” for almost two months. I had to pay 750 bucks to a DPE to have them re-print me an ATP without the restriction. Took the guy 15 mins. And yes, that’s the going rate for a DPE in SoCal nowadays. Unreal.
