I never heard back from the first email I sent. I waited about a week and sent another email and got an invite within a day. My suggestion is to send a second email a few days later if you haven't heard back.

Meet the chief event in ORD on Nov 10
How far in advance are you guys sending requests for the meet the chief events? If you sent one recently I believe that people in recruiting that might handle those emails have been helping to set up the event in ORD and might have been a little busy. I emailed 7 days before the ORD event and heard back the next day asking if I was interested in attending the event in ORD or the event in DFW. I would keep sending your emails.
It was a very streamlined event. I got to meet with the system chief Ryan and we talked for about 7 mins. At first you introduce yourself and hand them your resume thanking them for the opportunity to meet with them. You can highlight anything you want about yourself you feel that makes you stand out. He will ask if you have had in incidents, accidents or failures. They normally don’t give you much indication of whether you will get a call or not but they are very positive. They normally will jot down some notes on your resume as you’re talking. At the end he will ask if you have any questions for him. I asked a couple of things and thanked him and that was it. They don’t ask for any recommendation letters here or at least they didn’t to me. I had brought my last logbook just so they could compare hours if needed but that was not needed at this point either. There were 4 people in the room set up at different tables so who you talk to is solely based on who just became available from someone leaving. If anyone else has anymore questions feel free to ask.

My application status updated to “Phone interview” in the online system several days ago. However, I have not received an email or call about scheduling one. Does anyone know how long this normally takes after the system updates your app status to that? I’m debating sending an email if I haven’t heard anything by end of day Monday, but don’t want to annoy them.

I did not attend a MTC yet, they never emailed me back about one. I was going to email them again about the one next month in DFW, but since my app already updated to “phone interview” I wasn’t sure if I should email them about the MTC, or email them about the phone interview, or both, or neither.
