Meh. I think this is overblown. If you’ve got TPIC and don’t have a really good answer for “Why Spirit?” - why should they hire you? It sounds like there are a lot of people who aren’t prepared to answer that question with a believable response.
FWIW, a friend of mine was just hired at Spirit. 4,000+ hours, 1,000+ TPIC.

As to answering “why spirit?”…I guess the best liars come out on top.

I have recently applied (so I think) and the Status said “under review”. A couple days later I logged in and it said “You have not submitted your profile to any jobs.” I reapplied and checked again later and it had done the same thing. Also, the portal is only letting me update HR info and not flight times. Am I doing something wrong or is this how it works?

I’ve applied a few times and never received the link for the Gallup assessment. Is it supposed to be sent out immediately?

I did not get a link for the Gallup test, only an automated email saying that I had applied (the first attempt only). I just checked and it says “You have not submitted your profile to any jobs” again.

Go to your profile, click view current job opportunities, the search for First Officer and press Apply Now, it should say that you have successfully applied for this position (without having to re-do the application). If you got a confirmation email as well then they should have your application.
