Did it just go really well with the first person and flowed well from there or ?? What do you think put you over the top on that day?

Also, if you don’t mind, what are your stats? I’m starting to believe the people on here who think spirit is stiff-arming people who are marketable to other airlines.

My chief and I clicked and had a good conversation. He asked why Spirit and not go to United and I gave him my answer. He asked me if offered an interview today if I could do it and I said yeah. Then he asked if I had any questions and I came prepared with 3 to 5 and he seemed to like my questions. After the meet he lead me back out and said to hang tight for an interview. I reviewed aviation interviews about a week before mtc.

Congrats. You may be the most experienced one in class the way things are going.

I had 17 in my interview group. The only two not given CJOs were captains with >3,000 TT. I'd say average was 2300-2700 FOs.

Meh. I think this is overblown. If you’ve got TPIC and don’t have a really good answer for “Why Spirit?” - why should they hire you? It sounds like there are a lot of people who aren’t prepared to answer that question with a believable response.

FWIW, a friend of mine was just hired at Spirit. 4,000+ hours, 1,000+ TPIC.
