Even with shorter upgrade times, which is appearing to not be true anymore, the only way you could maybe make more money here is if A) you do upgrade quickly and B) you have less than 20 years left in your flying career. And with all the"1500 hour wonders" (as you say) coming down the pipe, I'm going to go ahead and assume that most of them have way more than 20 years left and will be out of here as soon as the first legacy calls. I'm not working against anyone. All I'm against is a false narrative....from ANYONE.
You know, we have nearly 3000 pilots on property. Sure we are losing “some”, but you make it sound like everyone that comes here wants to leave at the first chance. Just because some may have a desire to go, doesn’t mean it’s the majority. Stop being so hyperbolic about it.

Spirit has advantages and disadvantages just like every other airline, but it is still a great place to call a career at.

I actually do think it’s the majority (of new hires). It’s my opinion. It’s worth what you paid for it. And for clarity, I’m on the F9 side and can’t speak to NKs situation.

What part of this is fake news? They are highlighting and putting the company further on record to what they are saying.

Nothing was fake. Some people are stuck playing checkers throughout life while others move on to chess

It's not bad but it ain't Delta, United or American either. Very far from it.

I applied a few days ago... It said the application was pending the Gallup test but I never got an email with a link to take it. Then I checked the application today and the application was removed from my profile. It said I had my I-Form profile to complete (the one with job history, education, etc). I went through it and it was all filled out and I hit save but it didn't change anything. I then found the First Officer position again, hit submit and it reappeared on my profile as submitted with the same "last updated" date of when I first applied. Now the status says "Under Review". My understanding was you automatically get the Gallup test upon applying, maybe not the case anymore?

It seems like someone else on the forum page prior to this has also not gotten the Gallup test. I guess we'll wait this week and see what happens to the application during business hours.

I’m trying to attend a Meet the Chiefs coming up soon. I’ve emailed twice and attached my resume as well. I haven’t heard anything back. How long does it normally take? I even took off to make sure I’d be available and I live in base where they will be visiting so I’d really like to attend.
