There was a guy in my time slot that has been at a regional for just months. Probably the guy who posted earlier getting an on-the-spot under 2000tt. Congrats, that's pretty awesome, especially the on-the-spot interview.

Just adding my own data point. 3200tt/2200 121 sic. Most guys were a lot lower time. Someone in the lobby was in a fully captain uniform, which doesn't necessarily correlate to higher hours but he might have been a higher time guy. Most seemed to be between 2000 and 3000.

At the end of the MTC, he showed me a list of interview dates. One was for this month, which I had to decline. The column for March was blank which was a small bummer, since my airline's PBS opened a couple days later and it would be convenient to bid around the interview date. Anyway I asked to receive updates on future interview dates and then went back to the airport to fly home.

A week goes by, not a peep. Then mid-day on the 14th I got a little valentine from pilot recruitment and an invitation to a March date. So my timeline was: apply and update in early 2021 when they reopened hiring, crickets for almost a year, then finally reaching out to the MTC email and getting and invite from that. Then, one week after the MTC I was invited to schedule an in-person interview. So I guess we'll go from there.

Is it really possible to get on with 1500 tt and a ATP ? The website allows you to apply but will they realistically consider such a applicant ?
