Good question but why are you even applying here ? I mean you can be honest but it's to get the type and leave right ?

Better pay/retirement obvious career progression over a regional. I'm mid 30s, would like schedule flexibility and a shot at living in base again (ATL)

Default Feb 8th MTC, Hired

Just got the call, I start in April! I attended the February 8th MTC which turned into an on the spot interview.

Stats:
1950 TT
450 Turbine SIC

Haha like I said!!! I mean when your right your right!! This is the new hiring min here. Sorry jpso your way too qualified for nkf9. Having pic time is basically the new dui for nkf9. This is the new norm. Expect a new regional contract boys and girls.

I’ll caution you guys from taking career insights from a guy who misspelled You’re three times in a row.

I have two friends in different new hire classes now with 1000+ PIC, one with a 135 background and one a former regional captain. One did a MTC and the other didn’t.

So tell us then. How soon after they get their 320 type ratings are they leaving. The problem is still the same. Good luck to both of them they almost just guaranteed a cjo with a major by coming here

Yep the sad part is I wanted to come here then after sometime watching inept management and then getting sold well yeah your right. No call yet and it is scary that I might have to be here any longer


There has been absolutely 0 to prove to me that this place is functional in any way whatsoever. The only thing I know is that mgmt does not invest in the workforce and love to save money. That equals 1 thing. Concessionary contract here we come.

But I don’t understand… I mean, you’re already flying the 320 with experience. That automatically qualifies you for a legacy job by your own admission, it’s a foregone conclusion. I mean, all these guys are coming here and leaving six months after they are typed… what gives?

If this is such a sinking ship, and you are so convinced you can easily score a legacy job, why don’t you have the balls to quit and focus on that 100%?
