Dress?
What seemed to be the common things you saw pilots wearing at MTC? Suits all around?
I know the typical response is “dress for the job you want”, but I don’t love how my suit looks and I feel much more confident in a button down shirt with tie. Wondering if this acceptable.

So get a new suit.
A shirt and tie is what you wear to lunch or how you sit at your desk. It’s not what you wear when you meet new people or present something (yourself in this case).
Why to pilots have such are hard time figuring out how to dress for certain occasions?
