Anyone have a timeline of when they applied to when they were contacted? Sitting a low on jet time (420hrs) which I know hurts. Does Spirit contact you only if interested or do they also contact with the "thanks but not thanks." Anxious to get out of the regionals this year and work towards an MCO domicile... Thanks all.

Who uh…who are these alleged FOs going straight to legacies, and which airlines? Outside of flows, the only people I know leaving right seat regionals to legacies are guys who have PIC time somewhere else like flying a gulfstream on the side as PIC. I want to know their secrets…

This has been covered numerous times in the MTC threads. Do some digging for timelines. They contact you either way.

Mayo, I was simply explaining why people get the tbnt. They see you struggled with training so they don’t want to waste time and money on you struggling through training here where we don’t baby you through. Especially if they dip out the first legacy that calls.

I don’t think our training is really that difficult at all if you make an effort. Idk if you were here in 2017 but we hired quite a few older guys that were likely to stick around their last 10 years and also flew with several that got hired with a restricted ATP because they weren’t 23 yet.

Well was there on the 13th and still nothing. My guy told me they will definitely be calling you.

When they came out and called people back at my appointment time they didn't have my name. Luckily I had the email which showed my confirmation time and date.

They said no problem, my name would just be added to the list but now it makes me wonder if I was lost in the shuffle. My application still says hiring event.

Oh well nothing I can do. Good luck to those that were called. The guys I talked to before we were called back all seemed like great people.

I was there the morning of the 13th as well and still haven't heard. My app says the same thing. I've thought about sending an email tomorrow since that will be the two week mark to just try and follow up.

I don't know their secrets, but anecdotally, I've flown with some of them and know for a fact they left for a legacy with strictly 121 SIC time ...
