Have heard from several different places that the MTC's may be turning into hiring events. They did it back in the day that way and may be returning to it.

Im attending the mtc event this week and just noticed on my app that its been updated from under review to pilot event interview. Not sure what that means as far as an actual interview or just there way of documenting coming to an event.

My friend got the same thing, status change. He says in the MTC they said “would you be able to come back on XX date” I think a month after the MTC. Whether it’s an actual interview or just a phone call/face to face with HR to say you got “interviewed,” it sounds like MTC gets you scooted up the line at least.

Did you guys do anything special outside of just applying through the spirit careers site? Anyone without an internal rec? I know people that have gotten called pretty soon after a recommendation was submitted for them. It's been over a month for me and just crickets, app still "under review." I'm starting to think my guy either didn't actually submit a rec or maybe didn't do it right...and I still can't find a way to get in touch with anyone at spirit to check on my app status either.

I got the same as well at the end of my MTC I was offered 4 days from 7 days to a little over a month out for interview dates.
SnowmanKiller I think it varies just seems to be based on luck some people have said more than a week I was luck it seems and got it next day.
brocklee9000 Email and attend a MTC. I applied Nov 1 last year sent a MTC email in dec and my status updated right before I attended the MTC. I had no internal rec's and I'm fairly low TT.
