especially when Spirit Airlines now has to compete with pilots possibly leaving to be sanitation workers. As they are now pulling in $300K/ year.

too strong in the paint. Dial it back. You don’t want to come off as full-blown disgruntled troll. Come on man.

Everybody's standards have lowered, it is just not a Spirit thing. It's all relative to what it was before, it's not like Spirit is slumming it more than everybody else. I have to shake my head sometimes at a few of the people getting hired at these once "unattainable" jobs at the "premier" legacies/cargo carriers.

Exactly. Seniority list pilot leaving/considering leaving SWA fro DAL and UAL is not "normal." Guys "no-showing" AA classes is not "normal." We are entering a new era and its going to get interesting

Was that expectation solely based on your times?

Spirit is my career goal due to QOL so even a 1% shot was worth it.

But yes, I had two internal LOR and both said it was a long shot but worth it.

What was your multi/turbine time? Anything that you felt made you stand out?
