That's your view, not theirs. If they can't sleep at night then going could be a miserable life. It's not all about the Quan for all.

That’s a good point. A lot of people like the security government work provides.

Best of luck on whatever they decide

Also furloughed about half the pilots in 2008

Yep. While many others went Chapter 11 and a few - like Aloha Airlines - even went Chapter 7.

It certainly CAN happen. On the other hand, I’ve seen major RIFs on government installations from BRAC.

That happens too.

Nobody is immune from risk.

Yesterday my app status changed from “Under Review” to “Phone Interview Scheduled”. I haven’t received any emails or calls though about scheduling the phone interview. Did the status change because I’m going to MTC? I’ve been checking my email and my spam folder too and have for sure not gotten anything about the phone interview.

Spirit has been trying to reach you concerning your vehicle’s extended warranty

People who come in here saying they’re good where they’re at as if they’re looking for us to persuade them is ridiculous. You’ll never feel comfortable with your decisions to leave stable jobs. I guess that’s why you see career regional pilots.

You're just a real bundle of joy, aren't you? What gave you the impression that I was here looking for random strangers on the internet to persuade me to come to Spirit?

There is a TON of uncertainty right now everywhere, not just in the airlines. I guess I'm not allowed to express some concern about a major job change? Again, I'm not asking or wanting you to persuade me to do anything.

In a world where the JCS Chief offers to back door attack warnings to China should the Commander in Chief order an attack on them, it’s probably unreasonable to expect that random strangers on the internet WON’T try to pick up the reins if you leave them dangling.

There’s really only one opinion you really need to worry about:
