Maybe - but lets hope not
Honestly maybe. They are the same group that lost around 100 million not including public perception and a customer base last year and then just blamed covid and the weather.

Also its not just money why people are leaving IMO

Im willing to bet that a large amount of people leaving dont really want to but they are not inspired with any confidence about NK and its future.

To really answer your question I would answer it with another question. What has management done to stop the attrition and instill some sense of confidence in the operation. As of late 0.

The question is if NK is sold do the pilots go with the acquisition and what does that mean for their career? Some may elect to stay the course in hopes of an AirTran/Southwest buyout scenario.

If only there was a section in some sort of agreement that was collectively bargained that addressed that issue? Even better if it was in the first part of that agreement, to find easily?

I think the greater worry is that they may be too slow or reticent to act, and that this thing might get out of hand before they take action.

I think you hit the nail on the head on my reasons for starting to throw some feelers out.

but will you go when offered? Easy to talk about on here but a lot harder to hit send on that resignation email and start from the very bottom again

Why even worry about part 2 when you haven't done part 1. He is updating his apps, good for him. Interview, get an offer and then decide with the family. Maybe Spirit will realize this wont be sustainable and do something.

And I dont think hitting the "resignation" email button is that hard; its being done as we speak in record numbers.
