Though that might be true for some (most?), I’m pretty self aware so I can predict AND still demand industry leading pay. You guys are “this or that” here in this forum.

Default New Hire Classes

Has anyone heard any rumors on if/when they're going to start back up with new hire class dates? Rumors of maybe February or March. With the attrition it seems like they'll need to run a few classes eventually...

We will be furloughing not hiring. I would not expect new hire classes until 2025. The pilot group needs to shrink by over 500 pilots. If attrition doesn’t take care of that then something will have to give. If we have attrition of 500+ you might see new hire classes before 2025

Unrelated, but did Spirit furlough during the pandemic or did they work other solutions?

No furloughs. They brought back the ability to drop reserve days and offered leave programs at partial pay. I'm hoping we get that again for this situation.
