Im around the same seniority as you and ill take my chances top 15% here vs bottom seniorty at a legacy. At 15%, you have been around this career long enough to know the bottom of and seniorty list is not where you want to be. But like I said before, you seem to be taking the stress of this pretty hard, so if you are waiting for a merger ruling, youre already missing the option to apply and interview right now, losing seniority at the legacy and further cementing you to the lower end of that list.
My guess, you are going nowhere, you are stressed with all of this, and I get it.

Anybody that is younger than 45 should be getting out no matter what happens. Why stay when you can be at a Legacy holding CA very quickly or get a nice WB line as FO... There are alot of young junior CA's that will sit reserve for a lonnggg time... senior FO's wont be upgrading either. Heck even 50yrs old should be thinking about leaving, you still have 15yrs to go and will be making more $$$ than you do now after 1yr, better retirement.. the attrition will get even worse here soon.

No because I typed it not said it so I didn't "hear" anything...
But seriously lets stop with the BS that only NK pilots get days off and anyone not at NK is misserable and wants to slam their head against the wall on the daily wishing they were at NK.

Left NK for UA few months ago... Yes, initially it seemed DTZ was huge loss in my QOL. However, after learning the reserve system, the reserve transparency and being able to aggressive pick up (proffer) trips and SC blocks, I'm home a lot more and had Thanksgiving, and will have Christmas Eve and Christmas off...
And it will get better by August 2024 when, for instance, long call goes to 18 hours...
