Default DTZ/Grid are priceless

I'll wear a clown suit if we can keep the grid rules.

The leather jacket was a good option back in the day at NK when we had the old "black and yellow" uniform as the blazer was gaudy and cheap looking. The bomber was good quality and wasn't dripping with "I iz a pylut" insignia. The problem with it was unless you were standing for long periods in sub-arctic temps, it was roasting to wear. Unless it was a walk around in MSP or waiting an eternity for a DTW hotel shuttle, you would sweat worse than south Florida summers and I spent more time lugging it around than wearing it. My solution in years past was a pilot sweater under the blazer when temps fell in winter. When the Karbon rolled out here I scoffed at the price and ski patrol look, but a buddy insisted I try his on a two day and I ordered one myself on the return leg and haven't looked back. Not as stylish as the ascot, but solid two season functionality and doesn't seal in all the juices like the leather does.

I'm sold, plus I love skiing.

Why are we talking about giving up anything on this JCBA, "I want the work rules AND the JB CLOWNSUIT!".

And HATS NOW! I'm a hard NO without mandatory pilot hats.

The current leather jacket is very heavy and looks kinda dated. Maybe we can do what Alaska did and design our own leather jacket with a lighter shell and more modern look. But I know Robin, who's former British Airways, likes that sophisticated British look.

Strange cuz the current JB uniform is something to be desired 😬 As long as we’re properly fitted for our uniforms, I’m good with most of the jacket options

My chief concern is that we retain as much culture as possible. Perhaps a blue beret or maybe even bowler hats.

Yes, a leather with a modern cut would be good.

Current JB jacket is awful. Long trenchcoat thing made of felt.
