We’re counting fleet size by order book now?

Whats with you YoNited boys coming over to talk crap? Sure, order book. Who cares? The point was with a large order book, Airbus will listen when it comes to engine issues.

But like I said, I’ll take the bet on the JBLU order book vs your 28000 pilot total. I don’t think there are enough women to join your aviate program to make that happen.

On top of their market share of 17% with a JB+NK combined market share of 9%.
Jesus you’re missing the point. Never said “will be the same size,” so check your quotes.

2027 is just over 3 years away which is when JBLU will be close to integrated with NK. You realize this takes years to happen? It will take years for the post merger JBLU, the new combined airline, past 2027.

The point is JBLU will be a large player with Airbus, close to the same size as SWA is with aircraft and its influence on Boeing. So JBLU with its current fleet, delivery book etc, is not going to allow Airbus to tell them to “wait for engines,” just as Boeing does what SWA basically tells them
in regards to the 737 fleet.

I understand the ski patrol issue the other dude raised, but I HATE trench coats, and think the leather jacket makes us look like dorks. When I'm wearing the coat I don't WANT to look like a pilot. I want something smaller, less bulky, and something I can wear on an overnight and not look like a pilot on a layover. Ski patrol works for me...

Ah my bad. I didn't think a difference of 500 airplanes (current+order book) and a 8% difference in market share was "close to the same size". Boy was I wrong!

Judge Young hasn't even made a ruling and we're discussing blue shirts and jackets.... Why not discuss future bases and which equipment will be where? A220 in DFW, called it first!

Better than the constant "Time to bail, time to get out" talk. Nothing wrong disucssing the potential vs the muck.
