Spirits 12 year rates are no where near the legacies. Actually a year one United a320 captan has a higher hourly rate than a 12 year spirit captain. Their 12 year rate is currently $30 dollars an hour more. Not to mention all the other bonuses they get such as PS... Spirit has a long way to go in terms of compensation.

^^^^ this. I also agree with the other OP who mentioned we need to be the highest paid narrow body pilots out there. Without a doubt!

This is the attitude needed for the next contract!!! Not the “if you don’t like it apply elsewhere” philosophy which runs rampant.

Or what about the guy on the other thread that said Spirit and LCCs positions are "jobs" and legacy pilot positions are "careers". Who the hell wants to go into contract negotiations with someone who from the start, views himself as inferior to Legacy pilots? Leave that mentality behind.
Pilots willing to label themselves "low tier" sure as hell wont help us

Agree. Recognize the short falls, address them in c2022, and MAKE it BETTER then a LEGACY. Period.

I totally agree or more bases that other airlines do not have otherwise why would someone with options come here? Quality of life is VERY good at all the majors not just Spirit...

Aint that the truth. Not sure how we developed this our QOL is the best around. I don’t see DAL, UA or AA guys lining up for our incredible QOL!

CLE to IAH has been abused by the regionals, he’s just happy to be anywhere other than his last.

Nothing surprises me. They negotiate in secret then drop subpar bs on dues paying members while we watch our brothers and sisters at other airlines get 300%. Always a day late and a dollar short.

At least one guy on the seniority list gets it.
