What percieved equity does the SPA MEC now bring to the JCBA? How's that gonna affect the SLI? I seem to remember them telling us we had to take the deal so we had a better position with our equity in the negotiations or it could negatively impact our position in the SLI. Looks like JetBlue's MEC just widened the gap.
Nah we'll be fine, we just need new lanyards...

"Growing another apple tree" or something to that effect

You can joke about it, but it should worry you that 30% of your group, 70% of our group and our MEC would sell it for .10 on the dollar.

Enjoy the LOA that Robin "gave" you because had he not you wouldn't have **** and there wouldn't have been anything you could have done about it.

And while we're in a joking mood, I'm going to enjoy sharing the same relative seniority as one of your pilots hired 6-7 years before me. How do you like them APPLES? 🤣

Yeah just 50$ an hour more instead of 60$ an hour more, my bad.

And as for SLI, you may be right, you may be wrong, I am just saying its really bold of you to be counting your chickens a year or two before they are hatched. Life is crazy. Two years from now you might be crying your way through a JCBA with Frontier.

And who knows, you may blow my mind and the Spirit group may come out way ahead in the SLI integration. I will just have to console myself by having made it to a major airline a decade or two earlier than you in life and enjoy the next 40 years of my career.

In an airline merger (as history has always pointed out) there will be consternation, usually on both sides when crews start mixing, as to how the SLI goes/went down until there is a big enough event whereas the pilot group focuses on the real protagonist again (ie mgmt).
