I’m really sorry. What is this DTZ everyone is talking about?? Too many TLA’s for me to keep up with

Drop To Zero. Something we have and love although few really do it given lack of quality / quantity in Open Time. Still nice to have the option though

oh yes I love that. Going into this merger and JCBA I will definitely vote No if they try to take that from us. It’s a non-starter. also on the list is picking up out of base and our reserve grid.

Papa Robbin isn't going to pay you JetBlue rates for free.

Papa Robbin isn't going to pay JetBlue rates because Spirit management is involved in the process. Ain't happening.

We are stuck with what we've got until the JCBA, which is the part where Ted and Bendo are long gone.

Went up 6 more seniority numbers as a captain according to spirit ALPA website… guess giving us subpar pay didn’t work - like we didn’t know the was going to happen..

Yep drop to zero, everyone loves it so much, that's why no one leaves here for a legacy...

it’s more like pilots love to makes them selves miserable because they get to fly big planes to Europe.

they really don’t know what’s good for them.

look at APA posting all these videos of how they want better work rules. And how grumpy they are… hey at least they’re a legacy and nobody really cares about the rest.

And to reiterate your point, JB hasn't been an LCC for quite some time.
You need to lobby APC to change its category in the airline profiles. Until then it’s an LCC. (Major/National/LCC). Spirit is there as well.

Similarly I left Spirit for American early last year. Quality of life at Spirit is better than the QOL on the NB side of American. Hotels are a bit better at Spirit along with the transportation. On average I flew less legs per day at Sprit and the days seemed to be a little bit shorter. On average newer airplanes at Spirit. The hangup and one of the main reasons I left was the seniority progression at Spirit. This is where it lags way behind the legacies (although that won't last forever and soon you will be on the back side of the wave). Spirit has a young pilot group and I will upgrade much sooner and my seniority will be much greater at retirement at American. Because of this I am positive I made the right decision. But I still tell all my CA's I fly with about the QOL I had at Spirit and the great contract they have for lineholders.
