Funny how he voted for a TA that is sub par to the Delta TA in every single way, but yet is quitting to go to Delta.

The vesting is prorated based on how many years of service. You only loose a portion based on how many years you have been here. It's not li like you will loose it all if you have 5 years in and then leave.

This is one thing that has me on the fence about leaving. I'm at just over 3 years and would lose close to $20,000 in 401k money if I bailed.

None of which you ought to see until you are so old you are taking required minimum distributions in your 70s in any event. Probably a year of profit sharing some places.

how is he bad at math ? If spirit put in $40,000 since he’s been here , and quits after year 3 he forfeits 60% of that. That’s $24,000. Obviously not knowing his Actual inputs /variables .. that seems like a plausible number to me
