Legacy managements are saying the delta AIP is the new benchmark. Our own representatives should at least be saying the same.

Agreed, anything less is a slap in the face.

Spirit is going to be Will Smith, no doubt. Prepare for the pie in the face.

Default Training Pay increase

So training pay up to $2500 coupled with no health insurance for 90 days is a big deal. It is a slap in the face. A worse slap was $1750 and I get it that all the current pilots endured that. If you are 25 years old with no family responsibilities, it may be a slap you can take. Can your family take it?

I feel like the company had a golden opportunity to address attrition. Regular pay during training, health insurance on day one, and at least match the pay that a new hire gets at a regional. Pretty simple. Opportunity missed.

Yeah, I had an interview lined up and was hoping this would be addressed but it doesn't seem so.

Hey, you get a paid uniform if this goes through, so things are looking up.

Don't forget no improvements to our crap reserve rules either. Also directly effects new hires.

I asked a union rep this and they informed me that when the survey came back from the pilot group, certain reserve rules weren’t really a priority for negotiations
