Those rates are quite sad.

DOS UAL 2000 12 yr 320 CA ≈ $230/hr. Do the math on that...

On that note, other than the MEC emails that show YTD attrition, do we know where on the list most people are leaving from? Is it really a bunch of first years getting the type and bouncing, or people that have been around longer?

It seems to be a healthy mix, judging from my seniority number in FLICA going up every month.

Bold of you to assume they’d buy an extinguisher. From the looks of it, it seems they’ll just wait for the flames to die out, no matter how much of the house is lost.

Yeah guys don’t fall for that crappy Alaska pay rate (eye roll)

don’t worry we’re gonna get top captain pay of $375 an hour…no worries about this recession coming up.

must be nice to dream when you’re wide awake.

I have been listening to some of my spirit friends saying you guys are holding out for the big bux and it is really unrealistic. Whatever you end up getting, fight for a me too/snap up like AS did. It would suck to match AS rates, then see everyone else go above 350.

Don’t know how many times the NC has to say that Alaska was a multi year negotiation, a full section 6, covering every section and that this process for NK is exactly NOT that.

When/IF we get a TA, you can vote how you see, but go into this with the reality knowing that they are NOT going for those “crap” AK rates, as some have called them.

This negotiation is 100% to hold us over until the JCBA process OR a failed merger which would open section 6 for a comprehensive CBA.

Like it or not, vote how you want when/if the time comes, but at least go into this in the position of reality, it will help IF/When we get a deal.

AS "me too/snap up" is limited to 2%, after 2 years. At year 3 they get up to 5% in stead of 3% provided average of bigger carriers pay goes up enough. Not exactly DL/UA rates +1%.....
