your correct. Even if we did the company can circumnavigate that by sending the bonus check prior to day one of class. Before they’re actually an employee on the CBA.

Hey guys, outsider looking in. I see by the thread title that you are having an attrition problem. Not sure if you guys have ever considered or talked about having your union approach the company about an LOA to raise first year pay? Not sure if it's been considered or talked about. Might be a good idea, can't see how it could go wrong.

You’re totally right, we should offer people not on property legacy starting pay and keep everyone else at 20-30% below industry standard. How insightful… new hires should get a raise and they will when the rest of us do.

We did it over at F9. It hasn’t really helped.

Only served to undermine the ability of your MEC to approach the company for early openers or an LOA for all pilots. Thankfully we have no trigger in our contract which allows a one side pay increase from management
