Nope. Just expressing my disappointment in my fellow pilots. I get seniority, I really do, but I also get fairness.

And you believe giving a raise to 1st year and nobody else is fair. Fairness is subjective, and sometimes doesn’t sound fair when you can’t take a few steps back to see the whole picture.

Nothing to do with seniority. Your false premise of “newbies getting screwed” is baseless. You only say that in relation to what other airlines are getting. Had no one raised their rates since 2018 when our current contract was negotiated, you wouldn’t think 1st year pay was all that bad. Not to mention, every single one of us came here knowing what the pay was. Time to grow up kid.

Maybe people need to realise that we’re over 21, old enough to bote, get married, go to war etc. let everyone make their own life decision. You guys are like little children fighting over a doll.

As a newbie, I’m for everyone getting a raise, not just the newbies. Just hope we don’t get screwed over either. All I’m praying for.

I’m not sure what’s worse- listening to insanity or people trying to argue with the insane?

Show me WHERE I’ve recommended giving a raise to the first year people and nobody else.

When you give up on that, show me where you have renounced screwing over the new guys in the NEXT contract. You seem to be avoiding making that commitment.

Seriously, the fight is with management. Don’t you feel even a little sheepish about holding the new guys hostage financially - and even worse, in terms of insurance coverage - because you BELIEVE that MAY give you leverage? I get it, NK has a Neanderthal management, but what does that say about the rest of the pilot group if they hold innocent non-combatants hostage?

I get it, NK management can be turds, but do you really think that’s the right way to treat our fellow coworkers?

I say that in relationship to the percentage difference between first year pay and other FO pay and the ALPA comparisons demonstrate it.

Ten other airlines have gotten better payscales than NK WITHOUT screwing over their newbies.

That’s a fact, not an opinion.

And yeah, I know, when you were a kid you didn’t have a yellow school bus, you had to walk to school, 10 miles through sleet and snow, uphill both ways.
