These times are unique and the company needs to stop the bleeding. I expect a good deal
sooner than later.
A good deal? A deal MAYBE but this management group has no interest in a good deal and we will only have ourselves to blame if we accept a deal that isn’t great.

highlights:

TOP CAPTAIN PAY:$315/hour

5 year FO: 179/hour

1st year FO 97/hour

no more training pay (straight to first year F/O)

$10,000 signing bonus regardless of time on property

16.5 % DC retirement

Spirit backpack with a 500MB flash drive and A321neo poster (yes that what I was told)
I think the real question on everyone’s mind is, can I wear the backpack to work? And will it match my north face jacket?

You’re not paying attention. The massive attrition is crippling.

Why do you think Endeavor management just doubled pilot pay in 17 days of nonstop negotiations started by management?

Spirit needs to raise pay yesterday. They may hate pilots but they love money and they need to grow.

I am paying attention, they don’t care. They are running this place into the ground. Probably have marching orders from Franke if they want jobs after they get their golden parachute from JetBlue.

With 13,000 Tumi suitcases floating around unclaimed, 4 each or I vote no. (13k pilots divided by 3.2k pilots)

Cutting 5% of the network for q1 after cutting a significant amount of flights for q4 is not what i picture for a 'growth airline.' Sounds more like a dying airline.

Did you read the article ? Capacity was gonna be up 11% YOY and 35% from 2019. You guys throw out so much hyperbole .. because it makes you feel good for some reason. A not to mention we just started Rochester. Added Norfolk. And have added few more routes from CLT. Remove flights that don’t work and try and add where they might. Hardly dying.

13 new airplanes are coming this quarter, and we’re cutting flights. The company hasn’t turned a profit since before covid because of capacity cuts.
