I used an inflation calculator etc., etc., and tried to make a reasonable what I actually thought we could get and added 10% to come up with the answer to the survey question - what is my minimum? My proposed minimum rates came out better than Alaska's by a fair amount.

What I meant was when I saw how much Breeze, whom I do not consider a competitor, got for their rates - I feel like I should have said my minimal acceptable on the survey was higher.
The retirees on social security are about to get an 8.7% increase for ONE year’s inflation. Unless there is an automatic cost of living increase built in multi year CBAs are going to need 8-9% ANNUAL increases in pay just to tread water…

so you did a monologue about not being rude when he told you to stay away from voting booths…… and then you proceeded to tell him to stay away from voting booths…..

I must be doing something wrong. I moved up 0 numbers this past month ;(

Captains who aren't super junior aren't leaving, and I don't blame them one bit.

You are aware of the difference between saying MAYBE and flat-out telling someone to do something?

I'm going to assume yes because we are all professional adults with the same exactly license in our pockets (and probably same worthless aviation degree) soooo... what was your two cents supposed to accomplish here? Did you want a participation award or something?

I love your ability to start a post trying to raise the level of conversation, and then you always try to burn it down with the last sentence.

Keep up the good work

Just want to see if I got this straight…. People are arguing that you guys should accept less because well….. it’s Spirit?

the same spirit with one of the lowest CASM in the industry….. flying the same type of equipment as you’re soon to be merged company is, paying their pilots substantially more, while still making enough money to buy Spirit…. and some among you still argue to accept less?

worst case of Stockholm syndrome I’ve ever seen.

You don’t have it straight, no one has made that argument, just move along.
