You know jetblue’s 12year FO rates are $190 right? You can’t be this out of touch with reality, this has to be a troll statement. You know we go to work to make money, right? So you don’t think you’re worth more than a 5% raise? Realist? Nothing about your statement makes you a realist. I’m just glad it seems the majority over at Spirit do not have your “realist” views.

His response was to a statement that rates should “Start at” not top out at.

Hey, I think it is hilarious all the old dudes who were defending $50k first year pay as leverage over management now insisting that they are a no vote if FO pay doesn’t start at $200K. But yeah, first year pay is and has been $hitty and our fellow pilots deserve more. Make fun of it all you want, it bothers me not a bit.
