Those are the clowns that told me that asking for more money will bankrupt the airline and why we should vote yes.

Sounds like negotiating in public is for fools and well... there you are.

Because the Tumi TA negotiated in secret by the UA NC and approved by (most of) their MEC was such a winner?

Maybe it’s time to BE vocal. Especially here where between the pilot shortage, opportunities elsewhere, and a JCBA that will HAVE TO GET DONE before an expensive merger can bring any serious return on investment means that this time the pilot’s group has management by the short and curlies rather than the other way around.

Maybe it’s time for the pilots group to firmly communicate their expectations to management as well as the MEC, because the traditional you-give-us-this-for-that sort of horse trading doesn’t need to apply this time. Maybe we can come up with a better plan than just selling out the newbies in the belief it’s a zero sum game and that if we impoverish them enough there will be more for the rest of us.

I found this out recently, a bug in the flica bot software actually changes hard town hall questions to stuff about uniforms and beards. That's why it gets asked so often.

First year pay went from $40/hr to $38.50 in the old contract. Imagine a contract that lowers pay?!

say it with me everybody: "block or better per day"... shoot, per leg if your feeling frisky. This trip average block is such bull. I flew 8 hours the other day and got paid for 5.

Trip average is industry standard. Day average that we currently have as well is not
