this is straight from a guy in new hire class and management gave a presentation too.

Also ONLY first year new hires. Once 1 year is complete you get a “signing bonus” of $45,000. And health insurance immediately!!!
almost correct. It’s 25 percent, 16% dc and limited reserve drops restored. Otherwise spot on

Retroactive to January?

That would still leave our newhires $15 an hour short of all other carriers.

$25/hr sounds way more realistic than 25%. Many people I suspect are skeptical and I understand why. Market forces are changing so fast I believe an LOA may not be be this week.. but something will happen before years end. Weather it be a jetblue snap up, or $25/hr or something else I firmly believe something has to happen and will happen.

They are surely seeing we are no longer just losing pilots due to attrition. We are dealing (or rather not dealing) with a hemorrhage of pilots. Something will have to happen.

$25 an hour wouldn’t stop the attrition. It would be like drilling a hole in the bottom of a leaky rowboat in the hope that the water would drain out, it’d actually make things worse. It’d just be a final indication it would be better to go elsewhere.

And even 25% would only approach parity with B6. Even lineholding CAs aren’t going to stick around for two years plus waiting for a merger in this environment. Management is going to have to get real. Even suggesting less than current JB rates threatens to start a stampede since less staffing itself will destroy QOL here.
