Yes - followed by a year of being part of the lowest paid pilot group in the US.

Also order your winter jacket soon if you want to be able to use it in 2022. 3 years from now you can submit for a reimbursement.

38 losses for August.

478 hired (900+ forecasted),
213 gone.
Net gain of 265 for the year.

It was a company wide letter attached to a much longer letter from the JetBlue CEO which gave some broad strokes about the merger and basically let the rank and file support staff at NK know there will be a place for them in the new company. Then a lot of generic CEO talk about the future, exciting times, hard work, etc.

Spirit’s Pilot attrition numbers are pretty similar to yours year to date, a bit higher but that is to be expected given we have a larger pay disparity.

the difference is now captains are bailing at high numbers and not junior captains either. Before it was mainly junior FOs leaving now Captains with many years of seniority are telling Ted to go pound sand

Ok, but what does “high numbers” equate to, how many senior captains have “bailed”?

Hyperbole is going to hyperbolate

And more power to him if that’s the path he wanted to follow. Two things can be true at the same time, attrition can be problematic for overall growth and career progression and needs to be addressed, and at the same time the company isn’t on the precipice of disaster.

Half the opinions on here read like mainstream new media chyrons:

“MASS EXODUS AT SPIRIT AIRLINES”
“HIGH NUMBERS OF CAPTAIN BAILING, CEO TOLD TO ‘POUND SAND’”
“SPIRIT CEO OUSTED, CITES ANTI BEARD HATE”
“ROLLING STONES SET TO KICK OF 75TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR”

That was really funny in your head wasn't it?

Who stepped down and made you queen of NK reality?

There are some really "special" folks here at NK. The more of the "senior" captains that leave the better.
