Leverage over whom? The current management is doing their own resumes. They can cut any deal now they want, just to avoid the nuisance factor. No skin off their noses if it gives the pilot group leverage against the JCBA. That wasn’t the deal they were looking to to begin with.
H€||, they might just give an industry leading contract to spite B6 management for screwing over their sweetheart deals with F9.

I agree with that. I was questioning 40+ flight cancellations that happened today that the other poster was referring to.

I'm sure their spin machine is preparing for the large 2nd Q earnings loss that is forecast to be revealed next week.
Problem with this ULCC Casm laser beam is all of these schedule reductions really exacerbate the damage to their sole business strategy which is low Casm at any cost.

Hence why it worked well for pilot movement, when the prospect of adding over 100 new aircraft in the next 5 years, was at play. NK alone or NK/F9 would have been a great set up for organic seniority movement.

Maybe the hiring stats won’t be different w JetBlue but at least you’ll be getting paid nicely for the babysitting
Not to be rude but anyone that still is looking for quick movement you may still get it Frontier. If you really think the ULCC model can work at scale in this country they are hiring. I’m pretty sure it cannot so if I wanted movement as my sole reason to pick an airline I’d be picking American.

Sorry but once AA hires their last retirement newhire, upgrades will be stagnant for almost every airline. 8-10 year upgrades will be the norm. This isn’t the regionals, people stay and movement will be limited. Sorry, but this is what it is. So best go to somewhere where FOs can make a great living as well and not needing an upgrade to have a rewarding career.
