How does the current attrition looks like after the merger?

Any word on the new contract? Pay rise? or will it be dragged out until the merger is complete?

I know, they announced the sale last week. Why is everyone dragging their feet?

get the point yet?
DFW? Oh for Delta? No, wait that base closed. It’s funny how you picked what you wanted? AA? What about STL or PIT. UAL? How about CLE that is just barely hanging on. Would you have called those secure? The point was rookie, you don’t solely pick an airline based on bases, since they can vanish overnight. There is no such thing as a secure base.

I mean Delta is/owns ATL. If any argument for a secure base is to be made, that's probably high up there. I agree overall though, nothing is certain; only a few major HUBs are sure bets and only for Legacies that have fully dug in.

Those aren’t great examples of bases….STL - TWA hub that AA didn’t want, PIT - US Air hub, AA didn’t want, CLE - CAL hub that UA didn’t want.

Better example would be DL cutting CVG. Regardless, if you think Delta is moving out of Atlanta, I have some oceanfront property in Iowa to sell you.

Which makes you wonder what fairytale land someone is living in when they say they are leaving Spirit because they want “secure” bases. What ever made any Spirit base “secure?” Spirit based are/were never “secure” from ever closing or being downsized, just as the company isn’t “secure” from closing its doors

legacy bases don’t vanish overnight you old crusty dinosaur. Especially now that the merger era in the legacies is over. If a person wants a secure base they can go to a legacy and get one.
