What you clearly implied was that it wasn’t the unions job to ASSURE adequate first year pay, however you wish to weasel-word it. I believe the union has a moral and legal obligation to treat ALL pilots in the group fairly. Bargaining for the more senior pilots but leaving compensation for new hires up to management does not do that.

when you do your mandatory 6 replies to a post that mentions FYP, does that include subsequent replies to the original post or do you start the counter over each time?

Generally I am content to let it die out relatively quickly as long as Mayo keeps out of the conversation.

I didn't imply that, at all. You heard what you wanted to hear. My goal and yours are the same. Our strategy to get there is different in this specific environment.
