Obviously 10/mo isn't sustainable to grow an airline. Especially with 50+ planes on schedule for delivery over the next two years. Yeah, 319's to the bone yard, but still. My concern is it's gonna take a couple of years to get the pipeline flowing again and, absent a change in the contract (not likely in the next 2 years) how many pilots are we gonna loose to the big 7 (Alaska - not so much, AA, Delta, United, UPS, FedEx)? The last email from the SPA MEC is spot on, and offers no real encouragement for junior people to stick around and find out when they have multiple opportunities that are usually going to be better than what they have at Spirit.
