On another note, summer will be fun! Looks like we’re adding a route or two.

My poor math shows we’ve gained 38 pilots over the past 2 months. Based off the seniority list in January showing 2872 total and the May vacancy bid showing 2906 total.

i think it’s close to around 25 for the year. At least 7 on that vacancy have since quit.

Looking at the interviews for my airline, we have 8 from Spirit interviewing with us this week. 7 are captains. Spirit keeps hiring, but attrition is continuing.

I mean at this point let them go. It will spur seniority and hopefully get the company to the table sooner. Everyone has their place they want to be and not everyone at Spirit wants to stay. Now is the chance if people want out.

Um....upgrade times used to be quicker....but not anymore. And even then you'd still make more money at DAL unless you only had 20 years left in your career. And don't mistake what he's saying there, "we have the money part covered." He's not saying they have the money to pay pilots, he's saying they're already paying pilots! "Our pilots make as much as Delta pilots". If anyone actually believes this, they deserve nothing more than what they have settled for.
The newest captain at Delta has been at the company 2 and 1/2 months. Going to get much, much worse. Unbid captain positions at UAL. Spirit pilots deserve nothing less than the same rates at AA/DAL/UAL. Huge raises coming at all 3. Don’t settle for less.

Honest question: how long to currently hold CA at DAL at a base that’s not bypassed regularly because it’s miserable?

Has the 2 year upgrades hit the non NY bases yet?
