Year to date cumulative premium credit time, I posted at 3am after a few beverages. The idea is the same though, the more premium flying you do, the father down the call list you start.

That’s why I said caveat to the short call (Y) list.

Zero, really? I never said the grid HAD to be red, but that damn sure is a good indicator they will be calling if there is still a lot of open time less than 48 hours out. Other situations like an outstation sick call or reschedule they have a flow chart of who they have to call no matter what the grid color is, but to say it has zero to do with premium trips is also a misnomer.

I try to average 75-80 hours/month with 15-17 days off a month. FO and 12% in base. Don’t X/Y list on my days off since I commute and want to be home. FWIW

All reasons why I originally said it was too complex to explain here and that it wasn’t out there just for the taking. We don’t need to explain a 10 page section of the CBA on APC

Good point. Better to say “we have premium pay, get hired and learn the contract”

^this. Learn the contract. It baffles me when guys don’t know how the trip we are on is paid- block, duty or duty rig.

What’s worse is hearing how many pilots that failed to participate in the contract survey that was just out!

I painted it in broad strokes and everyone wanted to jump on the nuances.

No one needed to quote it chapter and verse, the guy wasn’t looking for binding legal advice.

Probably best that their opinion doesn’t get counted if they are too lazy or cynical to fill out a survey.

I’m scared to ask how bad the participation rate was.
