How many days off for those numbers?

Im averaging 80-100 a month on reserve. Weird little things in the contract sometimes add credit. That, and an XY here and there. Only answer about 1/3 of the XY offers though

Spirit has approximately what, 160ish planes right now?
I read that they will have 293 planes by 2026-2027 under the current order. That number doesn't include the additional 50 airplane options, correct? Moreover, I'm curious how that would affect seniority in terms of pilots per plane and how many pilots would be on property by the end of this growth cycle. 5,000 pilots? 6,000 pilots? If so, it sounds like the ability to make captain relatively soon is contingent on getting hired and soon.

Also, what is the attrition outlook at Spirit right now? I know pilots love working at Spirit, but with massive hiring signaled by the legacy carriers, I can't help but think that anyone who'd want to go to a legacy probably will have a decent chance.

Thank you everyone whose responded so far, it's helping build a picture of what's to be expected -- everything from min. guarantee to premium months + days off.

Attrition will increase. The level and rate will depend on how spirit handles the growth of the operation. If mismanagement hampers growth and daily operations of the airline it will increase attrition.

Nothing to say we’re stopping at 300 airplanes either. That just happens to be what this current order takes us to.

I believe that 290-300 airplane estimate is based on the 50 additional order options.

You’re 100% right. There will be a point that with this current order spirit will hire the last captain relatively soon. Management will either have to offer FOs something that makes hanging out here in the right seat for a decade a better deal than starting over at a legacy or they will have regional type attrition from the bottom half. Hopefully they keep growing until the retirements pick up here in the next decade or two that way when growth stops it rolls into retirements and the list keeps moving for everyone.

UND and Embry Riddle instructor flow programs to airbus at 1500 total time - ie see what frontier did before Covid. But still industry low FO pay

It does not include the 50 options.
