Hey all,
I interviewed recently in FLL. Had a great experience and left feeling very confident. Currently working a 135 job with about 4000 TT and more than 2000 Jet PIC. I brought two letters of rec (one internal). There were about 20 in my group, more than half of which confirmed they got a call the very next day. Spirit says up to two weeks before notification so I still have a little hope, but the fact that more than half of my group got a call so quickly has me worried. Do you think I stand a chance, still, or should I expect a “thanks but no thanks”? I can’t think of a reason why they would call half of the group at a later time than the rest so that’s where my anxiety is coming from.

I’m assuming that unless you received a TBNT email you’re still in it.

There may be some vacant class spots open that needed to be filled quickly.

I told them 2 weeks. The people that got called from my group are in mid January classes. No news on my end, still, but the holiday could have something to do with that I suppose.

No news is generally good news. Feel free to reach out to HR. It could be a number of things. Double check your spam folder to make sure you didn’t miss an email.

Yeah, I’ve been checking my spam folder while holding my breath a lot lately! Still nothing in there, luckily. Spirit says notification within 2 weeks of interview so I didn’t want to follow up with HR too soon.

Could anyone here comment on training failures. I had an outlier failure on an oral almost 5 years ago. Only one I’ve had in 15 years of being at the airlines. There’s a question on the talent acquisition form that asks if you’ve had anything in the previous 5 years. I’m assuming this is a trigger regarding a call for an interview.
