Tough to gauge what actually gets you called. I know a guy who just got hired with a little less than 2800 TT and 600 TPIC. No internal recs or letters. Maybe it depends on having a good range of experience in your background and evidence that you can make it through their training program. Maybe it matters which regional/legacy feed they are extracting you from. Maybe it was the lavender butterfly at the top of his resume that did it.

Meet The Chiefs
Hey Everyone,
I received an email to attend Meet The Chiefs in Sept. I am an FO for a regional with 2800TT. I have had my app in since March and I’m really excited for the opportunity.
Any advice and/or recommendations to prepare for Meet the Chiefs would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping I can get an interview afterwards. Good luck to everyone else with an app in.
Thanks

And being knowledgeable about the ULCC business model in general and that of NK in particular seems to be the answer.
You might Google “Ben Baldanza” and do some reading, then take a look at the investor info pages on the Spirit.com website.
YMMV but it seems to work.

The funny thing was that I only got asked this question on my 5-minute telephone interview. It was never asked during my virtual interview or my in person logbook review. As a matter of fact they never asked me anything about Spirit at all, business model, etc.
