Fair enough. I've never worked at ACMI so cant speak to that. But as PD said, its all about what works for the individual. I can say that I have worked at Spirit for quite a while now (top 20%) with a clean record and live in a Delta base.....yet I've never applied there. If that says anything. I'm not a Spirit cheerleader, yet do get a little sensitive when people imply this is only a place to go when you don't have options.

I'm not sure if there's anyway to reach out to them. The status on my application on the portal still hasn't changed at all. I guess I'll continue staring at my email!

I'm in the same boat. I did a Phone Interview on the 2nd and was told I'd get more information on Monday (the 5th) for the video interview and still haven't received anything.

I interviewed on like a Wednesday and we were all told we would hear something before the weekend. Feverishly refreshing my email Friday afternoon, I got to wait until Tuesday morning LOL

Do not forget your junk mail filter if you have one. It has happened to others.

I would definitely say we are a step up from these two airlines at least.

Never heard of Avelo Airlines until just now. Interesting to see how it will all shake out with all these ULCC starting to pop-up.
I bet Spirit Airlines is starting to feeling like the Real Slim Shady...a lot of imitations.

I’ll add to the junk mail thing. They somehow were sending my info to my @me.com which I have literally never used. Didn’t even know I had it. I searched all mailboxes with Spirit as the search and found some emails. pm me if you want more details.

Should be. Could be.
A couple of crews got to spend the night in the TPA terminal last night. Apparently the Covid Home School workers just couldn't get around to the crews that timed out (or see it coming) and get some rest accomodations squared away. Over two hours on hold. 0600 they call to inform of the 1900 DH back to base followed with a sheepish, "are you still at the airport?". Where else would we be??? At least I am allowed to find my own way home all day long on my day off. No hotel offered.

A) Grieve it.
B) If you wind up spending the night in the airport you have to accept some of the blaim. It's not like this place hasn't melted down and stranded crews before. That's when you get on Priceline, break out the credit card, get yourself a room and then expense it.
