Not going to call in. Need to make as much money as I can now to cover big pay cut over training and the smaller paycut till I get through that first year pay. Another question, any good crew rate hotels near the airport?

almost every pilot out there… impossible to schedule an interview when you have 11 days off a month.

Curious, you don’t get paid for sick calls?

Ugh, that’s weak.

Good news is soon you’ll be enjoying sick time accrual that serves as wonderful float vacation when needed.

Yeah, Regional QOL stuff. Counting on my huge PDO cashout to help with the bills during my first 6 months at Spirit (if I get the job fingers cross).

I had no idea any airline even regional did this. Incentivized guys to fly sick which drives me nuts.

At my last regional, calling out sick even once in your last 60 days of employment meant you forfeit your entire accrued sick bank upon leaving
